Boost your Child’s Self-Esteem workshop
November 15 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
As parents we want the best for our children!
Deep down we all want for our children to grow up to be happy and fulfilled individuals with the skills necessary to handle the ups and downs the life throws at us. With a deep sense of their own worth. Of course we do, because we know that good self-esteem is key to resilience and good mental health.
Think of healthy self-esteem and a sound sense of self as your child’s inner compass. The navigation system that allows them to make choices that support them. To stand up for themselves, create meaningful relationships, give and receive love and have faith in themselves.
But how do we go about this, you may ask?
Does this mean we need to praise more?
Or enroll our children in all the confidence building clubs and after school activities that we possibly can?
And is confidence and self-esteem two different names for the same thing?
Many parents find this topic a bit confusing – and end up feeling that nothing they do to boost their children’s self-esteem works.
In this workshop we uncover the reasons for this. We show you how you can relate to your child in ways that boosts your child’s self-esteem and fosters a greater connection between you and your child.
This parenting workshop will give you a clear understanding of the key elements of self-esteem and how it differs in important ways from confidence. We promise you will walk away with a clear idea of what simple, yet powerful things you can do, as a mum / dad to support this important inner compass in your child.
We keep the workshop size intimate up to 10 attendees – ensuring that everyone will get the maximum out of this workshop. This event is suitable for parents of children of any age.
Tea/ coffee, baked goods and all workshop materials are provided.
We look forward to seeing you there,
